2 serious in Kanpur’s Ghatampur village, Leopard attacks

Seven people were injured when a leopard attacked them in Fatehpurva Ghasiari village, in Ghatampur sub-division of Kanpur on Sunday morning. According to locals, they informed police on Dial 100 who, along with a team of the forest department, had surrounded the area to trap the leopard till last reports came in. UP cabinet clears renaming Faizabad district as Ayodhya

The Uttar Pradesh government has today formally cleared the renaming of names of Allahabad and Faizabad divisions to Prayagraj and Ayodhya divisions. Afghanistan sends more forces to Hazara-populated areas amid Taliban violence

The Afghan government has sent additional forces to the Hazara-populated areas of southeastern Ghazni Province, which has been under attack by the Taliban militant group for several days. Several Syrian civilians kill in Dayr al-Zawr Air strikes by US-led coalition
